CTcon 2014 - Post Con Update!

So with CTcon I ended up going all three days! I was planning on going just Saturday, but I could afford to go all three days, so I decided to go. Though I only cosplayed two of the three days. It's been a while since I haven't cosplayed at a con. Friday I was Blake Belladonna. It was really amazing because I managed to find a couple of amazing RWBY cosplayers at the con. They were so chill it was great. I managed to get a lot of good photos of the cosplayers, but I won't post any until I send the pictures to the cosplayers. I want them to have first pick with which photos they want to post. With my cosplay I might have more pictures to post in a month or so because Stephane Laroche(www.facebook.com/stephane.laro…) took more pictures of my cosplay.

He also took pictures of my cosplay Saturday when I wore my Korra cosplay to the con. That cosplay didn't look too bad considering that I made in in the span of a couple days. Our groups TopDogCosplay & Bells-andWhistles managed to find a really amazing Mako to hang out with during the day Saturday. We have sooo many pictures(100+) from just hanging out and having our own little photoshoot. If we do this cosplay as a group at our next con we're totally going to try to meet up with the Mako. 

Also!! Our group got 2nd Place in the Adult Novice section! Here's a video of our skit:


Seriously though Shiya-Aki(Bolin) and frae-sideralis(Amon) are amazing. They needed two other people in their skit, and my sister, ASofterDream(Asami Sato) was given three weeks to learn the dance, and I was given a little over a week. Shiya-Aki, frae-sideralis, and radioactivebanana922 were great with teaching us the dance, and I think our cosplays looked pretty damn good on stage. <3


Sunday I was just wandering around the con without cosplaying. It was really interesting since I usually cosplay. I don't even know the last con that I didn't cosplay at. I got a couple good photos of cosplayers that I have yet to contact. Overall it was a really great con. I'll be posting pictures slowly since I still have a lot to go through, and I really do want the cosplayers in the photos to get to pick which ones they post before I do. Shiya-Aki and ASofterDream will most likely be posting pictures from the con, so if you want to see more pictures go to their DA's.
